Bump? what the hell - Guild Wars Forums

when i was browsering through the selling things i noticed alot of people wrote bump. What does that mean? i dont get it

It means you "bumped" your topic from page 2 or 3 to page 1.

bump = "bring up my post"

by posting an new reply you get your thread to the top of the forum's topic list, and ppl will notice it. Of course, the goal of an auction is that it gets noticed
